Making time for precious people

Sometimes I get sooo busy, that it takes an angry or upset phone call or mail of my loved ones, to remind me, that I have not taken the time to speak or write to them which they really deserve.

How busy is busy?

Every day has 24 hours – fact. But how we spend those is the question. Work and family life are taking a lot of those hours.

The average person works between 6-8 hours a day and sleeps between 6-8 hours, which leaves only a couple of hours per day for social life and hobbies.

According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches more than 4 hours of TV each day or 28 hours per week, or 2 months of nonstop TV-watching per year. In a 65-year life, that person will have spent 9 years glued to the TV. – That’s a lot!!!

New research released by Ipsos Open Thinking Exchange (OTX) shows that Americans aged 18-64 who use social networks spend an average of 3.2 hours per day doing so. That’s 22.4 hours per week! For some people that is the equivalent to their part-time job!

P.S.: I do think of you even if I don’t get to call on a regular basis, but I try to better myself. Promise!
